Kathmandu: At the Peacebuilding Commission (PBC) meeting on Women, Peace and Security (WPS), Deputy Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations, Gyan Bahadur Magar, reiterated Nepal’s strong commitment to the WPS agenda.
He highlighted the importance of women’s meaningful participation in peace processes, enhanced international cooperation, and increased financing for WPS initiatives. Magar also emphasized the need for gender-responsive conflict prevention to ensure sustainable global peace and development.
