Kathmandu: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has announced that peace and normalcy have been fully restored across the country following recent political developments. With the formation of an interim government under Prime Minister Sushila Karki, daily life has returned to normal, with businesses, offices, and transportation operating smoothly.
NTB said the return of stability has renewed optimism among citizens, especially youth, and boosted confidence in good governance and socio-economic progress. The interim government has also assured timely elections, further strengthening public trust.
For travelers, all major tourist destinations, hotels, restaurants, domestic and international flights, and public transport are operating normally. NTB emphasized that Nepal remains a safe and welcoming destination, highlighting the country’s history of resilience and the enduring appeal of its Himalayas, cultural heritage, and sacred sites.
“Tourism in Nepal has always bounced back stronger, and we are confident it will do so again,” NTB stated, encouraging visitors to return and experience Nepal’s unique natural and cultural treasures.
