Kathmandu: The Nepali Blind Women’s Cricket Team will participate in the first-ever Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind 2025, to be held in India and Sri Lanka from November 11 to 23.
According to the Cricket Association of the Blind–Nepal, this marks a historic milestone as the championship is being organized for the first time in the history of blind cricket.
Teams from Nepal, India, Australia, the United States, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and England will compete in the tournament.
As per the schedule released today, Nepal will face Sri Lanka in the opening match on November 12, followed by games against India (Nov 14), England (Nov 15), and the United States (Nov 16), all in India. The team will then travel to Sri Lanka to play Australia on November 18 and Pakistan on November 19.
The final match of the championship will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on November 23.
