Kathmandu: Hikmat Singh Ayer, Senior Director of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), has been appointed as the Officiating Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Board following a decision by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.
The Board stated that Ayer has been associated with NTB for more than 25 years and has led all major departments of the organization during his tenure. He has played a significant role in tourism promotion, program coordination, policy implementation, destination marketing, and various national and international tourism initiatives of Nepal.
As Officiating CEO, he will oversee the Board’s day-to-day administration and continue leading NTB’s efforts in promoting Nepal as a premier tourist destination in the international market.
