Kathmandu: Nepali national Amrit Jha, who had been detained by Iranian authorities, has been released, says Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal. He is currently in contact with Nepal’s honorary consulate general in Iran as well as the Nepali Embassy in Qatar, which are coordinating efforts for his safe return.
“Amrit Jha , who was captured in Iran, has been released. Our honorary consulate general in Iran as well as Qatar Embassy are in touch with him. Our team is working to bring him out of Iran,” Foreign Minister Khanal posted on social media.
