Kathmandu: At the Embassy of Nepal in Washington, D.C. Nepal Center of North Carolina handed over a cheque of USD 72,000 (approximately NPR 1 crore 11 lakhs), while the USA-Nepal Gastronomy Chefs’ Association contributed USD 20,000 to Hon. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
The contributions have been sent to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support relief and recovery efforts for the Bhotekoshi flood-affected communities in Nepal.
Nepal Embassy in Washington, D.C. has appreciated the generous solidarity and support of the Nepali diaspora and community organizations in the United States.
