Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal hosted a special cultural program in observance of Buddha Jayanti and Ubhauli Parba in Copenhagen in May 1.
The event featured a unique exhibition of silver statues portraying Buddha and Lokeshwor, in addition to the “Lokha” traditional Newa door photography collection by the esteemed art collector and photographer, Bjørn Vestergaard. His insightful presentation significantly enhanced the program, and we extend our deepest gratitude for his valuable contribution.
During the program, Tina Krce, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Denmark, delivered a heartfelt farewell speech acknowledging the contributions and distinguished tenure of Summina Tuladhar.
Following the program, a warm farewell reception was held in honor of Her Excellency Ms. Summina Tuladhar, Ambassador of Nepal to Denmark.
The Embassy expressed their sincere appreciation to all distinguished guests, members of the diplomatic community, and friends of Nepal.
Former Ambassador Tuladhar also expressed her gratitude to everyone she had met in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, including those connected virtually.
