Kathmandu: Pakistan has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian assistance to Nepal, comprising tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and medicines, to support communities affected by the devastating floods and landslides.
Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and all those affected. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal and remains ready to extend all possible support in this difficult hour.”
The Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad stated that they extend their sincere appreciation to the Government and People of Pakistan for the much-needed relief assistance. They said, “A true reflection of friendship and solidarity.”
