Kathmandu: The Embassy of Pakistan hosted the 13th Annual Ambassador of Pakistan Essay Writing Competition and 9th Annual Speech Competition 2026 in Kathmandu. Students from 50+ schools, colleges and universities across Nepal participated enthusiastically, reflecting growing Pakistan-Nepal academic and cultural ties.
The Embassy stated that this year’s essay topic marked the 150th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Students debated the timely theme “Will AI Engulf Libraries?” concluding that AI and libraries must complement each other in preserving knowledge, ethics & research culture.
Abrar H Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, announced Quaid-e-Azam scholarships for higher secondary students and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting quality education and youth engagement in Nepal.
