Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed deep sorrow over the blast that occurred near the Red Fort in Delhi, India.
In a message shared on social media, she extended condolences to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the victims’ families. “I am shocked and saddened by the tragic Delhi blast that took place yesterday evening. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. Nepal stands in solidarity with India in this hour of grief,” she wrote.
According to Indian media reports, nine people were killed and 20 others injured in the explosion, which took place on November 10 evening.
