PM Oli Invites Russian Communist Party Leader Zyuganov to Nepal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has extended an invitation to Gennady Zyuganov, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, for a friendly visit to Nepal.

The invitation was delivered by CPN-UML Standing Committee Member Dr. Rajan Bhattarai during a meeting with Zyuganov in Russia on Saturday, May 31. Dr. Bhattarai said the Russian leader expressed willingness to visit Nepal at a suitable time.

The two leaders also discussed strengthening ties between their parties and enhancing relations between Nepal and Russia.
