Kathmandu: Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister Balendra Shah has expressed sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to Bangladesh Prime Minister H. E. Tarique Rahman for the generous one million US dollar financial support for the ongoing relief and humanitarian works due to the tragic flash floods in northern Nepal and also the adoption of the Motion of Condolence by Bangladesh Parliament on 27 August in memory of the flood victims of Nepal.
“Nepal considers Bangladesh not only a close neighbor but also a dear friend with strong people-to-people ties. The kindness and support extended by Bangladesh in times of adversity have touched us deeply and will remain in our hearts,” Prime Minister Shah has said.
