Russian House Celebrates International Children’s Day and 250th Anniversary of Bolshoi Theatre

Kathmandu: Russian House celebrated International Children’s Day and the 250th anniversary of the Bolshoi Theatre with a vibrant concert at the Russian House, organized by Shushila Arts Academy as part of the cultural exchange between Russia and Nepal. The event reaffirmed the long-standing friendship and strong cultural ties between the two countries through music, dance, and the arts. 

Russian House stated that the programme was rich and varied: from contemporary hip-hop pieces to classical dance; guitar, violin and piano performances, as well as vocal numbers. The combination of classical repertoire and modern interpretations demonstrated a shared commitment to cultural heritage and artistic creativity in both Russia and Nepal.

Performers on stage included artists of all ages –children, students and professionals. The concert provided a platform for exchange, mutual understanding and the strengthening of people-to-people ties, representing another step in the development of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
