Kathmandu: On the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, Secretary General of SAARC, Ambassador, H.E. Md. Golam Sarwar met with Sheema Sen Gupta, UNICEF Child Protection & Migration Director and Co-Chair of the UNFPA-UNICEF Global Programme to End Child Marriage, and Veronica Kamanga-Njikho, Coordinator of the UNFPA-UNICEF Global Programme.
They discussed about ending child marriage and accelerating regional efforts to end child marriage across South Asia.
