South Korean Ambassador Jae-kyung Park present credential to President Paudel

Kathmandu: H.E. Park Jaekyung, Ambassador of South Korea to Nepal, presented his credentials to the Rt. Hon. President Ram Chandra Paudel, on September 30 officially assuming his responsibilities as the new South Korean Ambassador to Nepal. 

In his credentials statement, Ambassador Park stated, “It is a great honor and privilege for me to present my credentials as Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal. I would first like to convey the warm greetings and best wishes of President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea to the President and people of Nepal.”

Ambassador Park, in his statement, said that it was a great honor and privilege for him to present his credentials as Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal. “I would first like to convey the warm greetings and best wishes of President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea to the President and people of Nepal,” he said. 

He further stated that it was a particular pleasure for him to meet the President of Nepal as he begins his mission in Nepal and stated that he has great respect for the President’s long commitment to democracy and public service in Nepal. 

He emphasized that Korea stands with Nepal during this difficult time and that they hope to contribute to the country’s recovery and reconstruction. 

He said, “Korea and Nepal have enjoyed warm and friendly relations for many years. Our two countries have built a strong foundation of friendship through development cooperation, economic exchanges and close ties between our peoples.”

During the Ambassador’s tenure, he will work closely with the Government of Nepal to further strengthen the bilateral relations and bring the two nations’ people even closer together.

He stated that he hopes Korea can continue to be a trusted partner of Nepal as the country moves toward a more prosperous and resilient future. He is said to be deeply honored to serve as Korea’s Ambassador to the government of Nepal.

He concluded his statement, “We will continue to expand and deepen one of the strongest partnerships that can unite two nations.”
