Kathmandu: Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal, H.E. Ruwanthi Delpitiya, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Khadak Raj Paudel, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Kathmandu on June 19.
The meeting reaffirmed the warm and longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and Nepal. Their discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the fields of tourism, culture, civil aviation, and hospitality management, as well as expediting the conclusion of pending bilateral agreements.
Both sides exchanged views on strengthening tourism connectivity, including increasing tourist arrivals, promoting direct air links, and exploring opportunities for collaboration under tourism promotion initiatives.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to further deepen friendly and cooperative partnership for mutual benefit.
