Kathmandu: Ambassador-designate of Sri Lanka Ruwanthi Delpitiya met with Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), on November 10, 2025.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral trade, exploring new areas of economic collaboration, and encouraging private sector engagement between Sri Lanka and Nepal.
The Embassy also shared details about the upcoming Sri Lanka Expo 2026, describing it as a key platform to promote trade and investment opportunities. FNCCI and its members were invited to actively participate in the event.
Minister Chameera Munasinghe and Commercial Officer Bibek Wosti were also present during the meeting.
