Kathmandu: Ambassador-designate of Sri Lanka, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, met with a delegation from the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) led by its President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kathmandu on October 29.
The meeting focused on enhancing trade relations, exploring new business opportunities, and promoting mutual economic growth between Sri Lanka and Nepal. Minister Chameera Munasinghe also participated in the discussions.
During the meeting, Commercial Officer Bibek Wosti delivered a presentation on Sri Lanka Expo 2026, and informational materials about the event were shared with the delegation.
Both sides emphasized the need to further strengthen bilateral trade cooperation and expressed interest in collaborating on upcoming trade initiatives, including participation in Sri Lanka Expo 2026.
