Kathmandu: The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Asian Development Bank (ADB) Nepal, and the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the Government of Nepal in strengthening disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.
The partnership aims to enhance multi-hazard risk assessments, develop comprehensive early warning systems, improve climate risk financing for resilient projects, and promote knowledge exchange and public awareness to boost Nepal’s preparedness against future risks.
This coordinated effort marks a significant step toward building a safer and more climate-resilient Nepal through shared expertise and joint action.
