Kathmandu: Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) welcomed Scott Urbom, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the U.S. Embassy Nepal, to its office for a working discussion with the team.
During the meeting, Urbom reviewed the progress of the MCC Nepal Compact and discussed ongoing work under the partnership.
Officials highlighted that the compact aims to develop power transmission lines and economic infrastructure, contributing to Nepal’s long-term economic growth.
MCA-Nepal stated that the MCC Compact remains an important pillar of cooperation between Nepal and the United States, benefiting citizens of Nepal through improved infrastructure and development.
