U.S. Embassy Supports Weeklong Entrepreneurship Program in Nepal

Kathmandu: A weeklong entrepreneurship and innovation programme, Scale-Up Nepal, kicked off in Kathmandu, led by U.S. exchange programme alumnus Amit Agarwal.

Supported by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal through the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund, the intensive workshop brings together experts in artificial intelligence, finance, sales, entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence to help Nepali businesses strengthen their strategies and skills.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Public Affairs Chief Mike Harker and Cultural Affairs and Public Engagement Officer Erica Alexander highlighted the United States’ commitment to promoting a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem that benefits both Nepali and U.S. companies.

The programme aims to equip Nepali businesses with practical tools, foster economic growth, and strengthen long-term innovation and business partnerships between Nepal and the United States. Scale-Up Nepal will be conducted across five provinces in the coming days.
