Kathmandu: Visiting U.S. Ambassador to India and Special Envoy to South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, held a meeting with Rabi Lamichhane, chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, on May 2 in Kathmandu.
Following the meeting, Gor said in a social media post that he was pleased to meet Lamichhane and discuss ways to further strengthen the partnership between the United States and Nepal.
Gor also expressed optimism about Nepal’s current political direction, stating that the country’s new government has an incredible mandate for change and that its announced reform agenda appears promising. “We are looking forward to working closely ahead,” he said.
