UAE Announces Structured Aviation Resumption Plan

Kathmandu: The General Civil Aviation Authority has announced a structured aviation resumption plan, expanding flight operations to 80 daily flights as part of a phased approach to restore normal air traffic.

According to Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA, the plan reflects the United Arab Emirates’ commitment to maintaining safe, organized, and resilient aviation operations during the current regional situation.

Authorities stated that the gradual expansion of flights aims to ensure operational stability, passenger safety, and efficient coordination with airlines and airports while maintaining strict monitoring of the evolving conditions. The move highlights the UAE’s proactive approach to crisis management and its determination to sustain connectivity and economic activity despite ongoing geopolitical challenges in the region.
