Kathmandu: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kathmandu organized its annual Iftar event highlighting the UAE’s philanthropic work in the service of humanity and its sustainable development strategy.
The event was attended by UAE Ambassador to Nepal Abdulla Saeed Mubarak Jarwan Alshamsi, representatives from Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies, heads and members of diplomatic missions, representatives of international and regional organizations, business leaders, activists, media personnel, and members of the Muslim community.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Al Shamsi welcomed the guests and highlighted the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives and sustainable strategies aimed at addressing global crises and social challenges.
