Kathmandu: UAE Leadership Extends Constitution Day Greetings to Nepal’s President and Prime Minister
Kathmandu, September 21, 2026: The leadership of the United Arab Emirates has extended warm congratulations to the Government and people of Nepal on the occasion of Nepal’s Constitution Day, reaffirming the cordial, longstanding and friendly relations between the two countries.
According to information shared by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kathmandu, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, conveyed his congratulations to Rt.Hon Ram Chandra Paudel? president of Nepal on the occasion of Nepal’s Constitution Day, observed on September 20.
Similarly, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, conveyed their congratulations to President Paudel on the national occasion.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan also extended their congratulations to Rt.Hon. Balendra Shah, Prime Minister of Nepal.
The exchange of high-level greetings reflects the warm and enduring friendship between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the continued diplomatic engagement and close ties between the two countries and their peoples. Bilateral relations encompass a broad range of areas, including political and diplomatic engagement, economic cooperation, trade, investment, tourism, labour mobility and strong people-to-people connections.
