Kathmandu: Rob Fenn, Ambassador of UK to Nepal, held an important courtesy meeting with the Minister for Health, Population, and Drinking Water, Nisha Mehta, in the Ministry on May 6.
They had a discussion on strengthening bilateral partnership in the health sector by informing good governance and effective public service flow embodied by the current government’s 100-point route. On the occasion, Ambassador Feen expressed his commitment to give continuous support from the UK in strengthening the health system of Nepal.
Minister Mehta discussed the support received through GAVI, Global Fund and Fleming Fund as well as the strong friendship between the two countries. The Ministry of Health and Government of Nepal, in the coming days, will include additional resources, technology and economic partnerships from the UK.
