Kathmandu: The British Embassy Kathmandu has congratulated the government and people of Nepal on the successful conduct of the March 5 House of Representatives elections.
In a message, the United Kingdom described itself as Nepal’s oldest friend and said the democratic spirit demonstrated by the Nepali people provides a strong foundation for good governance and accelerated economic and social development.
The embassy also expressed its commitment to working closely with the new government of Nepal for a brighter future.
