Kathmandu: President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, met with Maria Dimitriadou, World Bank Special Representative to the United Nations, to discuss strengthening collaboration between the UN and the World Bank.
During the meeting, both sides underlined the importance of deepening engagement between the two institutions to address global challenges. They also exchanged views on the priorities of the President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), with a particular focus on food security, digital inclusion, climate action, and the implementation of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4).
