Kathmandu: Lila Pieters Yahia, UN Resident Coordinator, made her first visit to Koshi Province. As part of her first visit, she discussed opportunities and challenges shaping industries, entrepreneurship, trade and jobs in Koshi Province with representatives of the private sector in Biratnagar on May 18.
UN Nepal stated that local economies and businesses drive jobs, innovation and inclusive growth and Nepal’s journey toward LDC graduation will depend on national policy and the strength of local economies across the country.
