Kathmandu: UNDP held a briefing with senior officials of Karnali Province on the Civic Engagement Project, supported by Switzerland, presenting its objectives, implementation approach, and modalities for collaboration.
The discussion reflected strong interest and commitment from provincial leadership to advance meaningful civic participation and strengthen citizen engagement in governance processes. The officials also shared their valuable and extended continued support toward effective implementation.
The organization stated that the project is working towards building more responsive, inclusive, and participatory governance systems in Karnali.
