Kathmandu: In response to the recent floods, UNFPA is on the ground to safeguard the health, safety, and dignity of affected women and adolescent girls.
Pre-positioned Dignity Kits, Kishori Kits, and shelter tarpaulins have been dispatched from warehouses to meet immediate hygiene and protection needs. To support survivors facing severe distress, a dedicated psychosocial counsellor has been deployed to the field to deliver psychological first aid and emotional support.
Additionally, a mobile health team is active in Nuwakot, providing life-saving maternal, newborn, and reproductive health care.
