Kathmandu: Officials from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), including Country Representative a.i. for UNFPA Nepal Sriram Haridass and Deputy Representative Bashir Najeeb, held a meeting with Minister of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens Shradha Shrestha at the Ministry on January 12.
During the meeting, they held discussions on shared priorities on gender equality and the prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), including ongoing policy processes and mechanisms to strengthen coordination and response systems.
Moreover, UNFPA reiterated its continued partnership with the Government of Nepal in advancing these efforts, the organization said in a social media post.
