The Embassy’s Regional Health Officer visited Mustang Hospital to observe ongoing training in Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR).
Through the US Government’s continued commitment, they were able to deliver high-impact, evidence-based health services at Mustang Provincial Hospital, including Hands-on MRDSR training; Clinical mentorship for healthcare providers; and Standardized care protocols.
The officer also met with teams from Jharkot Health Post, the Provincial Public Health Office, and Lo Manthang Municipality to strengthen referral systems and advance quality improvement efforts across the district.
