Kathmandu: The Embassy of US, partnered with Youth Innovation Lab Consult Pvt. Led., organized the AI Innovation Lab Bootcamp for the next generation of AI innovators. The event took place over four days from May 14 to May 17 where 20 emerging AI innovators and startup founders strengthened their skills in practical AI innovation, startup readiness, and responsible technology development.
Participants refined AI-enabled solutions designed to address the real-world challenges in Nepal after strengthening their expertise through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on training. Erica Alexander, Cultural Affairs Officer from the Embassy, emphasized at the opening session that innovation should create meaningful value for people and communities. On the final day, participants presented their AI-supported solutions and implementation plans.
The Embassy stated that AI Innovation Lab Bootcamp is one of several U.S. Embassy Nepal programs engaging and enhancing Nepali talent and ideas in digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
