Kathmandu: Walton held ‘Global Distributors Meet’ in Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu on April 29. The event was participated by 250 Bangladeshi and 50 Nepali distributors of Walton products in Bangladesh and Nepal in addition to the high-ranking officials of the company.

In 2011, The Company started its external operation in Nepal, and over the years; Nepal has become a good potential and promising market for light-engineering products of Walton.
Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, appeared as Chief Guest for the event. In his remarks, Bangladesh Envoy lauded the proud contribution of the brand Walton products across the World. He shared his experience of visiting the Walton’s plant back in 2020, when he was amazed to see the magnitude of Walton’s production initiatives through quality research and innovation. He expressed Bangladesh Embassy’s readiness to facilitate Walton business and any other Bangladeshi enterprise’s endeavor to expand business in the international market, especially in Nepal. He appreciated the role of the distributors home and abroad as pillars of the company and people behind the amazing success story. He urged the Nepali distributors to work diligently to showcase the signature commodity like refrigerators to local buyers and also extended thanks to the Walton management for choosing Nepal for the grand event of showcasing Bangladesh.
Later, Ambassador Rahman also formally launched new Walton products by cutting the ribbon. The gala event was also joined by two of the founding members of Walton family; the Chairman and the MD, over zoom. The programme included a colourful cultural display and a sumptuous dinner.
