Kathmandu: Riaz Lodhi, Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Nepal, met with Simon George Ernst, Ambassador of Australia to Nepal.
Lodhi highlighted Australia’s longstanding partnership in Nepal’s humanitarian response, resilience building, and food security initiatives, noting that Australian support in areas such as health, emergency preparedness, food security, and logistics has been instrumental.
He expressed gratitude for Australia’s continued collaboration with WFP Nepal and emphasized the goal of further strengthening this partnership to promote resilient food systems, enhance emergency preparedness, and support stronger communities across the country.
