Kathmandu: Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) visited the Embassy of Qatar on July 16 in Kathmandu to express deepest condolences on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar.
“May the Almighty grant the departed soul eternal peace and may the enduring friendship between Nepal and Qatar continue to grow stronger,” the NAFEA said.
NAFEA said the visionary leadership of former Amir played a pivotal role in strengthening Qatar’s development and creating opportunities for hundreds of thousands of Nepali migrant workers, whose contributions have also supported Nepal’s economy and countless families.
The NAFEA extended heartfelt gratitude to H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal for his warm reception and kind hospitality during the visit.
