Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a courtesy meeting with Park Jaekyung, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, on October 14.
During the meeting, Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Park on his appointment and expressed the Nepal government’s willingness to strengthen cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries and their peoples.
Khanal assured the ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ full support in discharging his diplomatic responsibilities in Nepal.
The two sides also exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal–South Korea bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and expanding the longstanding friendly ties between the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the shared interest of Nepal and South Korea in deepening bilateral engagement and advancing cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.
