Nepal and Liberia established formal diplomatic relations on August 18, 2017. This agreement is based on the principles of the United Nations Charter and a shared desire to strengthen friendship and cooperation.
The joint communiqué was signed by Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the UN and Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the UN.
