Kathmandu: Consul General of Nepal in San Francisco, Lakhuman Khanal, met with the Governor of Hawaii, Josh Green, Chief Executive Officer of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, Sherry McNamara, as well as senators and other senior officials during his visit to Hawaii last week.
During the visit, Consul General Khanal also participated in the opening session of the Hawaii State Legislature on January 21, 2026. The meetings and engagements focused on strengthening bilateral relations, promoting cooperation, and enhancing people-to-people and economic ties between Nepal and the State of Hawaii.
