Kathmandu: Following the directives of the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE has announced a major humanitarian commitment of USD 550 million to support the United Nations’ 2026 Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO).
According to the press release, this substantial contribution underscores the UAE’s long-standing dedication to global humanitarian efforts and its commitment to alleviating suffering, strengthening resilience, and supporting vulnerable communities affected by conflicts, disasters, and emergencies worldwide.
