Kathmandu: Acting Ambassador of Nepal to Japan, Harihar Kant Poudel, paid a courtesy call on Murotani Masakatsu, Director at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at his office on November 12.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters related to bilateral relations, the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Nepal and Japan, the exchange of high-level visits, and issues concerning voting rights for Nepali citizens residing in Japan.
Nepal and Japan established diplomatic relations on September 1, 1956, marking nearly seven decades of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
