Amb. Dr. Dhakal Visits Newly Opened Nepali Embassy in Portugal

Kathmandu: Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, President of the Ambassadors Club and International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGGD), and Former Ambassador of Nepal to Spain and Oman, paid a visit to the newly established Embassy of Nepal in Portugal during her recent trip to Lisbon. She was warmly welcomed by Ambassador of Nepal to Portugal Prakash Mani Poudel.

On this occasion, Amb. Dr. Dhakal presented a copy of The Diplomat Nepal magazine and engaged in a constructive discussion with Amb. Paudel and the embassy team on potential collaborations. Their exchange focused on promoting Nepal’s image, expanding cultural diplomacy, and engaging think tanks and academia in Portugal.

The visit underscored the shared vision of enhancing Nepal’s diplomatic reach in Europe and building stronger institutional ties between IRGGD and the Embassy of Nepal in Portugal.
