Kathmandu: Ambassador Tej Bahadur Chhetri met Bjorn Soderberg, Founder and Managing Director of Build Up Nepal, at the Embassy on January 15. During the meeting, Soderberg briefed the Ambassador on Build Up Nepal’s work in earthquake-affected areas of Nepal through the production of Eco-Bricks.
Ambassador Chhetri commended Build Up Nepal for its contributions to post-earthquake recovery and sustainable construction, and congratulated the organization on receiving the Zayed Sustainability Prize 2026. Build Up Nepal has been awarded the prize in recognition of its outstanding work in the field of climate action.
