Ambassador Nepal Meets Speaker of Malta Farrugia to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Kathmandu: Shanil Nepal, Ambassador of Nepal to Spain and Malta, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta, Angelo Farrugia, during his recent visit to Valletta.

In the meeting, they discussed Nepal’s democratic journey and inclusive electoral system, while exploring opportunities for enhanced bilateral cooperation in areas such as parliamentary exchanges, tourism, climate resilience, and education.

Ambassador Nepal expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and emphasized the importance of continued engagement to deepen Nepal-Malta relations, grounded in shared democratic values and commitment to sustainable development.
