Kathmandu: Ambassador of Nepal to Canada, H.E. Bharat Raj Paudyal, attended and addressed the celebration of Nepal Heritage Day in Surrey. This marked the first observance of the day since its official recognition by the Government of British Columbia. Nepal Heritage Day was organized by NCSBC with support from Nepali community organizations.
The event was attended by the Honourable Premier, Ministers, MLAs, the Mayor, City Councillors, and community leaders. This recognition has encouraged and inspired the Nepali diaspora. It was a proud moment for Nepali diaspora and its contributions to nurture Nepal-Canada relations.
