Kathmandu: CdA (Chargé d’Affaires) Dr. Surendra Thapa hosted a dinner in honour of Honorable. Home Minister, Sudan Gurung at the Embassy on October 12.
During the interaction with the Embassy officials, Honorable Home Minister Gurung emphasised efficient, accessible and responsive public services. Home Minister Gurung also underlined the importance of close coordination with the relevant Indian authorities to protect Nepali citizens from exploitation and criminal activities and safeguard their welfare.
The discussions between them also highlighted the importance of strengthening people-to-people ties and deepening bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship and mutual trust that underpins Nepal-India relations.
