Kathmandu: FAO Nepal joined partners at the GREFF Stakeholder Workshop to discuss pathways for translating climate priorities into finance-ready, scalable investments. The Green and Resilience Financing Facility (GREFF) offers an important opportunity to mobilize climate finance, strengthen resilient value chains, and support sustainable development in Nepal.
Addressing the workshop, Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, highlighted the need to move from analysis to action through well-prioritized and bankable investment programmes. He emphasized the importance of connecting evidence, policy and investment to deliver lasting benefits for Nepal’s people, communities and landscapes.
FAO Nepal stated that they remain committed to supporting the Government of Nepal, the Asian Development Bank and partners in advancing resilient, inclusive and sustainable investment solutions.
