Kathmandu: Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, received a telephone call from H.E. Iruthisham Adam, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, on September 7.
Minister Adam expressed her deepest condolences and solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal at this hour of grief.
Minister Khanal conveyed his deep gratitude to the Government and people of the Maldives for the solidarity and support extended to Nepal during this difficult time.
The two Foreign Ministers discussed the common challenges faced by climate vulnerable countries and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing climate justice and stronger climate action in regional and multilateral forums.
