Kathmandu: Hon. Shisir Khanal, Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a telephone call from H.E. Dr. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the State of Qatar on August 31.
On the occasion, State Minister Al-Misnad expressed her sincere condolences to the Government and people of Nepal for the huge loss of life, property and infrastructure.
Minister Khanal expressed deep appreciation to the State Minister for her kind words of condolences, sympathy and solidarity at this difficult time.
He also conveyed sincere gratitude to the Government of the State of Qatar for providing assistance and support received in Kathmandu.
